The Riviera Maya is a promotional name created by the tourism association of Mexico to position the area located south of Cancun reaching all the way to Tulum in the minds of vacationers. This 81-mile stretch of land is connected by highway 407 and includes Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, Akumal, and Tulum. All along this highway there are various Riviera Maya Golf Courses.
